MISSION BRIEFING

“Driller, your objective is simple but perilous. You are piloting a high-velocity, thermal-drill mechanoid deep into a volatile, collapsing subterranean cave system. The surface world is out of power, and the only thing keeping your engine firing is the raw, volatile fuel cells scattered throughout these rocky depths. The walls are closing in, the cavern is winding unpredictably, and friction is your ultimate enemy. Punch through the rock, keep the tank full, and do not scratch the paint.”

HOW TO PLAY

Desktop Controls

• Hold Left Click / Spacebar: Fire your upward thrusters to ascend.
• Release Left Click / Spacebar: Cut the engines to let gravity pull you down.

Mobile Controls

• Tap and Hold Screen: Fire thrusters to ascend.
• Release Tap: Cut the engines to sink.

OBJECTIVE

Survive for as long as possible in a procedurally generating, ever-narrowing tunnel. You must constantly adjust your vertical trajectory to avoid smashing into the jagged rock ceiling or floor. Your engine is highly inefficient and constantly burns fuel—if your fuel meter hits zero, your drill shuts down, causing a catastrophic crash. Collect glowing Yellow Fuel Cells to replenish your energy and push your high score to the limit.

PRO TIPS FOR THE DEEP UNDERGROUND

• Feather the Throttle: Don’t just hold the thruster down. Quickly tapping (feathering) the control allows you to maintain a perfectly flat hover height when navigating tight, straight corridors.
• Predict the Momentum: The driller is a heavy piece of industrial machinery. It has weight and momentum, meaning it won’t stop rising or falling the exact instant you change inputs. Predict your turns early!
• The Fuel Dilemma: Fuel cells rarely spawn perfectly in the center of the tunnel. They will tempt you to dive close to dangerous stalagmites and stalactites. Weigh the risk versus reward before making a reckless dive.
• Listen to the Engine: Keep an ear out for the engine sputter and the low-synth beat. Let the rhythm of the game help you time your taps.
