Game Description

Dive into the vibrant, beautiful, and dangerous depths of the ocean in Mad Fish! You play as a fierce, neon-glowing piranha with an insatiable appetite. In this fast-paced underwater survival game, the law of the sea is simple: eat or be eaten.

Navigate the sandy ocean floor past treasure chests and coral reefs, devouring smaller sea creatures to grow bigger and stronger. But look out! The deep blue is teeming with massive octopuses, sweeping sharks, and giant whales that want to turn you into their next meal. Can you rule the food chain, or will you become fish bait?

🎯 Game Objective

• Grow Your Number: Every creature in the ocean has a numerical strength displayed above it.
• Eat Smaller Targets: You can safely consume any fish or sea creature with a number lower than yours. Eating successfully increases your score and physical size.
• Avoid Bigger Predators: Crashing into any creature with a number equal to or higher than yours will instantly result in game over.
• Survive and Compete: Keep growing, outlast the clock, and compete with up to two of your friends locally for the ultimate high score!

Mad Fish supports 1 to 3 players locally on the same keyboard for desktop, and intuitive single-player touch movement for mobile devices.

*”Attention, apex predators! You are dropping into a highly volatile ecosystem. At the start, you are the small fry ($Score: 10$). The ecosystem is flooded with standard sea life like Clownfish and Dories.

As you grow past a power level of 15, toxic Puffers and swift Seahorses will emerge. Cross power level 30, and armored Turtles will begin patrolling. If you manage to survive past power level 50, brace yourselves: giant Sharks, massive Whales, and stage-clearing Octopuses will ambush you from all sides of the screen. Watch the numbers, keep moving, and don’t stop biting!”*

💡 Pro Tips for Survival

• Tip 1: Don’t Get Greedy Early On When you start at level 10, the screen will spawn massive “starter numbers” like 47, 146, or 156. Don’t panic! Hunt for the level 5 and 8 fish until you build up your size.
• Tip 2: Watch the Top and Bottom BordersWhile standard fish swim horizontally from the left and right, Octopuses only spawn from the top and bottom of the screen. Keep an eye on the vertical borders when your score gets high!
• Tip 3: Size Enhances SpeedAs your score grows, your piranha doesn’t just get bigger—it gets slightly faster too. Use your increased speed to dart away from incoming giant whales.
• Tip 4: Use Your Teammates as Shields (Multiplayer Mode)If a friend has a much higher score than you, stay close to them! They can eat the medium-sized predators that are threatening to take you out.
